The
5CX1500A vacuum tube is designed for use as a Class AB1 linear
amplifier in audio or radio frequency applications. Its
characteristic low intermodulation distortion makes it especially
suitable for single sideband service. The tube is also recommended
for use as a Class C RF power amplifier in CW ,FM and AM service.
